Proforest at London Climate Action Week
The Proforest team will be in London participating in a number of events this week.
On Tuesday, June 24, Proforest is speaking at “Tackling deforestation: a starting point for integrating nature into climate transition planning”. This roundtable will focus on the Deforestation Finance Transition (DEFT) pathway, with Global Canopy and partners.
On Wednesday, June 25, Proforest will be alongside Conservation International at “High-Integrity Insetting: Strengthening Supply Chains, Communities and Ecosystems”. In this event we will hear from companies, NGOs, and investors on how they are partnering to scale nature-based solutions within agricultural supply chains.
On Thursday, June 26, we will be supporting “Procurement with Purpose: Catalyzing the food system transition in Brazil”. The event will feature a panel of industry leaders, retailers, and government officials from Pará to explore the Pará Sustainable Cattle Program.
On Friday, June 27 we are co-hosting “Resilient Landscapes for Resilient Supply Chains”. This session will bring together leaders from business, finance and sustainability to explore how landscape approaches can help address the root causes of climate change, ecological degradation and social inequality.
