Description
Proforest is looking for a proactive and creative Communications Intern to support our visual content creation, event coordination, and communications. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in branding and corporate communications in a dynamic and diverse working environment. The position is based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur and reports to the Communications Manager.
Responsibilities:
Visual Content Creation
Design and edit brand assets (e.g. posters, infographics, report and brochure layout, and videos) for internal and external communications.
Capture and edit high-quality photo and videos
Ensure all visuals align with corporate branding guidelines.
Content writing
Research, write and edit articles, documents, social media posts and emails for internal and external communications
Event & Communication Support
Support with logistics, setup, and promotional materials of internal and external events
Qualifications / Experience:
Essential:
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Any other languages is a plus.
Open to candidates pursuing a degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related field.
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Capcut
Excel academically with minimum CGPA 3.00 or second class upper or equivalent
Minimum duration would be 12 weeks or above
Compulsory internship placements by university
Desirable:
Passionate about visual storytelling, corporate communications and stakeholder management
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
Able to accommodate occasional Global online meetings (maximum two times a month, UK time (AM)/ MY time (PM)
Good communication skills and creative mindset.
Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
