Ana Carolina Lopes

Ana Carolina works in the communications team of the organisation’s Brazil office. She is involved in developing communication strategies and materials, including social media content, content for owned channels, design, and video editing for programmes and projects—supporting the organisation’s purpose-driven work through ethical and effective communication. Her aim is to strengthen the visibility and credibility of Proforest’s technical work, ensuring that field learnings reach and resonate with decision-makers, partners, and wider audiences.

Before joining Proforest, she led client services and communication strategy at leading agencies and worked with organisations such as the World Bank, GIZ, UNICEF, CNA, and TechnoServe Brazil. She holds a postgraduate qualification in Strategic Marketing Management from FGV and a degree in Social Communication from IESB. Ana speaks Portuguese and English.
