Fabiana Pierre

Fabiana Pierre is a Human Rights Specialist for Latin America South at Proforest, where she supports companies and landscape initiatives to integrate human rights and gender equality across agricultural and forest supply chains. She has over ten years of experience in research, international cooperation and project implementation on gender equality, social inclusion and rural development, including roles with FAO, ECLAC/United Nations, the Chilean Ministry of Women and Gender Equality, Imaflora and academic institutions in Brazil, Chile and the United Kingdom. Fabiana holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Gender/Political Science) from Universidad de Chile and now focuses on helping companies, civil society and public institutions adopt a more holistic approach that connects people, nature and climate, embedding human rights and gender into policies, supply chains and programmes across the Latin America South region.
