Leonardo Andres Paipilla

Leonardo holds a degree in English Philology and a Master’s degree in Administration, both from the National University of Colombia. He has more than five years of experience in responsible sourcing projects within the agro-industrial sector across various countries in Latin America, with a focus on oil palm and sugar supply chains. His technical expertise includes supply chain traceability, human rights risk analysis, the design of sustainability strategies, grievance management, and the development of action plans aimed at closing sustainability gaps.

Through his work in the organisation, he leads the management of responsible sourcing projects with key clients at the end of the value chain, including traders and consumer goods manufacturers. He also serves as the focal point for Latin America on Indigenous Peoples’ and local communities’ rights, linking downstream company initiatives with commodity production contexts and rights holders in these territories.
