Luana Rett

Luana is an Agricultural Sustainability Analyst at Proforest, her work focuses on strengthening sustainable practices across agricultural supply chains by considering environmental and social contexts, improving processes, and promoting an integrated approach that takes the landscape as a whole into account.

She holds a degree in Agronomic Engineering from the University of São Paulo. She has experience working across sugarcane, soybean, and corn value chains, as well as field experience that has allowed her to gain first-hand insights into and compare conventional and regenerative agriculture practices.

Her background includes experience working with farmers, cooperatives, regenerative agriculture, the GHG Protocol, carbon footprint assessment, and decarbonization strategies. She is currently pursuing an MBA in Nature-Based Solutions and the Carbon Market.
