Yerson Cruz

Yerson is a biologist from El Bosque University in Colombia and holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Ecology and Nature Conservation from the University of Greifswald in Germany.

He has over 5 years of experience in environmental projects across various Colombian ecosystems, with a focus on wildlife and plant monitoring, data analysis for decision-making, and community engagement. He has worked on conservation projects for the Andean condor, restoration of Andean forests, tropical dry forests, and wetlands, as well as the development of compensation plans for linear infrastructure and mining projects.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the municipalities of the Bogotá Savannah, watching series, and spending time with friends.
