Ikhlas has a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham Malaysia and experience working as a researcher for an NGO, the Tropical Rainforest Conservation and Research Centre (TRCRC). He has experience in ecological research, environmental management planning, park planning and design, as well as silviculture. Based in Kuala Lumpur, he fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.
