Ximena Sanchez

Ximena is an Environmental and Sanitary Engineer, with a postgraduate diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment. She has over five years’ experience in sustainability, working on environmental and social due diligence, risk management associated with production, and responsible sourcing within supply chains in the agricultural and forestry sectors.

Through her work at Proforest, she supports suppliers and companies in Latin America with risk management and the implementation of sustainability commitments, including supplier engagement processes, NDPE policies and commitments, and RSPO certification. She has experience in AVC-ARC assessments, environmental and social impact assessments, and greenhouse gas assessments, helping to strengthen responsible practices that generate positive outcomes for people, nature and the climate.
