Emilio Mondragón Medina

Emilio is an Agroindustrial Engineer with a background in food safety and sustainability. He has 8 years of experience in responsible sourcing and production, with work in the sugar sector.

Through his work at Proforest, he contributes to the implementation of sustainability standards such as Bonsucro and RSPO, the monitoring of action plans, and the development of training programmes and technical studies. He has also participated in human rights workshops and field visits to verify deforestation risks and prepare Social and Environmental Impact Assessments (SEIA), supporting companies, producers, cutters, day labourers and sugar mills in meeting their sustainability commitments and promoting responsible practices across the supply chain with positive impacts on people, nature and climate.
