Denise Cordeiro Soares

Denise holds a BSc in Biological Sciences (Animal Biology & Ecology) from the University of Surrey and is currently completing a part-time MSc in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem Health at the University of Edinburgh. She has over four years’ experience in environmental communications, specialising in translating complex environmental and social topics into clear and engaging content for diverse audiences.

Her expertise spans digital communications, content and multimedia development, analytics-led performance monitoring and science communication. Prior to joining Proforest, Denise worked as a Researcher and Science Communicator in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation, with a focus on Loggerhead Sea Turtles in the Mediterranean. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
