Shinta Holdsworth

Shinta is a Principal Project Manager at Proforest with over 20 years of experience working across environmental, social and multi-stakeholder programmes. She leads multi-country production landscape programmes in Indonesia, Ghana, Liberia and Cameroon, supporting supply chain companies to align with environmental and social sustainability commitments.

She manages high-impact initiatives such as the Sustain Kutim Landscape in Indonesia, securing commitments from global brands including Barry Callebaut, McDonald’s, Nestlé and PepsiCo to link corporate sustainability goals with broader landscape outcomes. Her work also includes leading EU Deforestation Regulation compliance projects in West Africa and developing corporate No-Exploitation protocols. She has contributed to the RSPO Assurance Steering Committee and FCDO-funded research on forest governance.

Previously, Shinta co-founded PEKA Indonesia, was a Research Fellow on wildlife trade policy at Oxford University, and held roles in environmental health, research and education. She holds a PhD from UCL and is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
