Proforest Initiative Brazil
Proforest is a mission-driven organisation that includes both companies and non-profit organisations. All members of the group voluntarily sign up to a commitment to re-invest any profit to continue the work of the group to advance our shared mission. We manage grant-funded programmes through our charitable Proforest Initiatives in the UK, Africa and Brazil, and we provide consultancy services through our companies.
Proforest Initiative Brazil (PIBR) was established in Brasília, Brazil, in 2013 to help Proforest achieve its goals more effectively across Brazil and Latin America. Its scope has since expanded to include work in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Having a presence in Brazil has allowed us to provide continuous support to companies, sustainability initiatives, government departments, and civil society organisations in Brazil and other Latin American countries. It has also meant we can help our international clients roll out their global policies on the ground in the region.
Our team includes specialists in forest management, soy, beef, palm oil and sugar supply chains, conservation and sustainability initiatives, and certification. Team members have extensive work experience in Latin America and internationally, and we can work in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Proforest Brazil is registered as a non-profit organisation (Associação Civil sem fins lucrativos) with the name Associação Proforest Brasil (CNPJ Registration number 17.493.676/0001-67).
