Bonsucro Global Week 2026 (Postponed)

Proforest will take part in Bonsucro Global Week 2026, where we will be representing our work in the responsible sourcing and production of sugarcane.

Taking place in New Delhi, India, from 9 - 13 March 2026, Bonsucro Global Week is the flagship global event for sustainability in the sugarcane sector. The event brings together sugarcane producers, civil society, brands, and stakeholders from across the supply chain for a week of learning, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.

On 11th March, Proforest’s Emanuela Ranieri-Svendsen will speak in the closing plenary session, “Certification or Collective Action?”. The session will explore the role of certification in setting sustainability and accountability standards, and examine where collective action across the supply chain is essential to drive systemic change and deliver real impact in the sugarcane sector.

Moderated by André Valente (Raízen), the panel will also feature Vidya Rangan (ISEAL), Chinmayee Deulgaonkar (Control Union), and Amit Chowdury (UN – International Organization for Migration).
