Proforest is working in Côte D’Ivoire, one of the three country programmes funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI), within the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, as part of our Production Landscape Programmes. The three-year workplan includes the development and testing of landscape and jurisdictional approaches and guidance, as well as capacity building among local and national stakeholders.
Proforest's Daleba Kpenahi, Helene Mbaididje and John Amonoo spent three days with the San Pedro platform members to deliver a high-level training on the High Conservation Values (HCV) and High Carbon Stock (HCS) approaches as well as community engagement.
- You can follow the photo story on Exposure, which provides a visual outline of the three days training, in the classroom and in the field and forest.
