Anamaría Mendieta
Human Rights and Livelihoods Analyst
Anamaría is a Human Rights and Livelihoods Analyst with a degree in International Relations from the Universidad del Rosario, specializing in Security, Peace, and Conflict. She is currently pursuing a specialization in International Cooperation and Development Project Management at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. She has experience in the design, management, and monitoring of international cooperation projects, as well as in international environment analysis and defense diplomacy. She has worked in institutions such as the Turkish Maarif Foundation and the General Command of the Colombian Armed Forces, where she supported strategic and international coordination processes. She is particularly interested in issues related to gender, migration, and human rights.
In her free time, she volunteers for the Colombian Red Cross and enjoys visiting museums, participating in cultural activities, traveling with her family, and walking to discover new places.
