Cecília is Deputy Director for Projects and Programmes at Proforest, where she leads mission-driven work at the intersection of responsible production, sourcing, and public policy. With deep technical expertise in agricultural supply chains, sustainability, certification systems, and climate change, she combines rigorous analytical capability with extensive field experience across Brazil's critical production landscapes. Through Proforest's collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach and trusted relationships with industry leaders, civil society, and policymakers, she helps translate complex regulatory and market expectations into practical, credible solutions that deliver real impact on the ground.

With nearly 20 years of experience across consulting and large corporations, Cecília brings a strong foundation in agribusiness and sustainability management that underpins her leadership at Proforest today. She holds an MBA in Agribusiness, an MBA in Sustainability Management, a master's degree in Materials Engineering, and a degree in Chemical Engineering. Currently, she focuses on scaling traceability and transparency in Brazil's beef and soy supply chains, advancing deforestation-free beef production, and supporting companies and partners to navigate an increasingly complex landscape of regulatory and market requirements.
