Human Rights and Livelihoods Senior Specialist

Jaime is a political scientist with a Master’s degree in Community Sustainability from Michigan State University. He has 10 years of experience supporting companies in their sustainability and inclusion journeys, as well as in creating value for their operations, workers and communities. He has worked primarily with the food industry, although he has also collaborated with companies across various manufacturing and service sectors.

Through his work in the organisation, he supports human rights due diligence processes, conducting risk assessments at different levels and corporate diagnostics to evaluate alignment with international regulations such as the EUDR. He also contributes to the design and implementation of human rights action plans. His experience includes projects in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Ecuador, as well as analyses conducted for Bolivia and Peru.
