Julian Palacios

Julián is a sociologist specialising in social intervention, human rights and international humanitarian law, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development. He has a strong track record in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of strategies and methodologies for social processes, working with public and private stakeholders to develop policies, corporate social responsibility programmes and community management approaches tailored to local contexts. He is also an RSPO auditor and has experience across supply chains of various agro-industrial commodities.

Through his work at the organisation, he contributes to the development and implementation of human rights due diligence processes in agro-industrial supply chains. He designs and facilitates training spaces, participates in field verification processes, and supports the development of strategic analyses, country profiles and sustainability plans, as well as risk management mechanisms. His work brings together key information to strengthen decision-making and promote responsible practices among companies and other actors within the supply chain.
