At Proforest, Laura works mainly on conservation and land-use challenges related to the production of agricultural commodities, with particular attention given to HCV-HCSA related aspects. She is also involved in Proforest’s broader sustainable sourcing work.
Before joining Proforest, Laura worked for the natural rubber industry in Southeast Asia to implement No Deforestation, No Peat and No Exploitation (NDPE) commitments in the supply chain.
Laura studied at Paris-Sorbonne University and has a background in geography applied to sustainable development. Therefore, she uses GIS regularly in her work at Proforest.
Laura speaks French and English.
