Maximino Bernardo Rivas-Rivas

Maximino is a specialist in regenerative agriculture, with a background in agronomy, environmental sciences and rural development. He has more than ten years of experience in leading and managing projects focused on sustainability, soil health, and the health and safety of agricultural workers, with experience in the sugarcane and oil palm sectors.

Through his work in the organisation, he leads due diligence and responsible sourcing projects with multinational companies, strengthening collaboration among stakeholders across supply chains to identify risks and co-create solutions. His work contributes to compliance with international standards, the improvement of environmental and social performance, and access to international markets through the development of responsible and resilient supply chains.
