Naana Nkansah Agyekum

Naana Nkansah Agyekum is a Communications Specialist with considerable experience in development communication, public relations and journalism. She has worked in the development sector for over nine years on a wide range of projects and campaigns on gender justice, climate change adaptation, women’s land rights, and extractive and fisheries governance among others. She also worked for three years as a Broadcast Journalist and a News Producer at Metro Television in Accra.
Naana holds a master’s degree in Communications Studies with a specialisation in advertising and broadcast journalism from the University of Ghana and a bachelor’s degree in English and French from the University of Cape Coast.  In addition to her primary role, she contributed her expertise as a volunteer Educator for Open University’s global online course Make Change Happen. In this role, she supported learners in building leadership skills, understanding systems change, and driving social impact.
