Naana Nkansah Agyekum
Naana Nkansah Agyekum is a Communications Specialist with considerable experience in development communication, public relations and journalism. She has worked in the development sector for nine years on a wide range of projects and campaigns on gender justice, climate change adaptation, women’s land rights, and extractive and fisheries governance, among others. She also worked for three years as a Broadcast Journalist and a News Producer at Metro television in Accra.
Naana holds a master’s degree in Communications Studies with a specialisation in advertising and broadcast journalism from the University of Ghana and a bachelor’s degree in English and French from the University of Cape Coast. She is currently part of the 2023 Global Public Voices Fellows at Cornell University and an Educator of an online course by Open University ‘Make Change Happen.’
