Project Manager

Pamela Cabral is a Project Manager at Proforest, where she works on agricultural supply chains, with a focus on soy and sugar. She supports companies in implementing deforestation‑free supply chains and strengthening environmental, social, and human rights due diligence processes. Her work includes developing solutions for traceability, chain of custody, and risk management, as well as promoting collaborative initiatives and capacity‑building with multiple stakeholders.

Before joining Proforest, Pamela built her career in the environmental field, combining data analysis, life cycle assessment, and natural resource management. She holds a degree in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from the Federal University of Pelotas and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa, with research focused on water resources and water quality.

At Proforest, she contributes to projects that connect corporate commitments to implementation on the ground, including capacity‑building initiatives for slaughterhouses in the livestock supply chain, multi‑stakeholder engagement in the sugarcane sector, and support for the development and improvement of certification initiatives for the soy supply chain in Brazil. She also works on climate‑related initiatives, supporting procurement functions in aligning decisions with corporate climate targets and in better understanding risks, production characteristics, and public policy contexts in sourcing regions.
