Sandra Hernandez

Sandra Edith Hernández Rivera is an Agricultural Engineer specialising in Agricultural Production and holds a Master’s degree in Plant Health, specialising in Entomology and Acarology. She has 13 years’ experience in agricultural production, the implementation of sustainability programmes, agroecological practices, organic certification, food safety and plant health, having worked in the agricultural sector with both small and large-scale producers.

Through her work at the organisation, she is involved in the design and delivery of Regenerative Agriculture programmes, coordinating technical activities with producers and sugarcane mills. She also contributes to the implementation of Regenerative Agriculture Field Schools and the validation of Regenerative Agriculture practices in oil palm cultivation, supporting producers and mills in adopting regenerative practices and strengthening their technical capabilities.
