Jéssica Schüler is an Agricultural Sustainability Analyst at Proforest, where she plays a leading technical role supporting the transformation of agricultural supply chains in Brazil and Latin America. Her work focuses on traceability and transparency in the cattle sector, production landscapes and human rights due diligence. She supports companies and supply‑chain actors in strengthening environmental and social practices, aligning corporate commitments with regulatory expectations, and implementing responsible sourcing systems in complex territorial contexts. Her work is grounded in strong technical credibility, extensive field experience, and deep local knowledge, enabling trusted, collaborative engagement with producers, companies, civil society and other stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, mission‑driven solutions.

Before joining Proforest, Jéssica developed a strong academic and technical background as a PhD in Ecology (UnB), with expertise in ecological processes, land‑use change, biodiversity conservation and socio‑environmental systems. Her academic work involved applied research, data analysis and field‑based studies, strengthening her capacity to assess environmental risks, interpret complex datasets and translate scientific knowledge into practical decision‑making tools.
